Our Veterinarians
Dr.
Candice Hall grew up in Victoria, BC. She graduated from the
Western College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Saskatchewan
in 1994, then moved to Courtenay and joined the staff of the Courtenay
Veterinary Clinic. Candice purchased the Courtenay Veterinary Clinic in
1999.
In her spare time Candice competes internationally with her Quarter
Horses in events such as Western Pleasure and Trail. She enjoys spending
time with her dentist husband, their border collies and horses on their
farm in Black Creek.
Dr. Tom Van Dyck earned his Doctorate
of Veterinary Medicine from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in 1992. He
earned his Bachelor’s degree in Biology (Zoology) from the University of
Victoria in 1988. He has been practicing in the Comox Valley since 1993.
Tom enjoys spending time with his family on his small farm in Merville.
He has two cats, two dogs and two Clydesdale horses.
Dr. Richelle Kendall joined the
Courtenay Veterinary Clinic family in 2008. Richelle graduated from the
Western College of Veterinary Medicine in 2008. Richelle worked as a
Registered Animal Health Technician before attending the Veterinary
College. Her hobbies include mountain biking, hiking, reading and most
importantly spending time with her husband and their two dogs.
Convenient Location
Our new location is located at 1380 Cliffe Avenue, the building with the green
roof next to Standard Park/ Beach Volleyball Courts and the River Walk
trail head.
